check out vintage and antique stores in your area. They usually have really funky and eclectic pieces for a fraction of the cost. (Urban Outfitters is so overpriced! A couch pillow for 60 bucks? I wouldn’t shop there, its a rip off.) Also look for independently owned furniture stores, they tend to carry one of kind pieces made by local designers. I have also seen some pretty eclectic accessories (picture frames, throw rugs, funky shelving etc.) in TJ Maxx. They are pretty reasonably priced too so you might be able to pick up quite a few good pieces.
