are stripper poles covered on the UBC?

I’m going to add a stripper pole to my home to increase the value of it. What design codes can I use to ensure code compliance
Answer:
Hahaaa… Do you have a two-story house? You could have a combination stripper/fire pole. You could tell your home insurance company that it is for fire safety. Might get a discount.. Make sure you get a good quality brass one. Maybe you could utilize it in your house’s plumbing?? As for the code, I don’t recall seeing anything regarding stripper poles in the books.. Just make sure it’s secure and sturdy enough to handle the lateral strain of a “spin.” Otherwise your wife? or whoever, will end up on their tush. And that kinda defeats your purpose, you know? And congrats on being a proud daddy..
