Hi!
I’m just remodeling my room, and I’m sort of the artsy type, so I wanted to make some stuff instead of buying things. I’m already painting an egg carton to hold my earrings. =] I’m going for the vintage look with my room, so any unique vintage looking things I can do would be great. Here’s my room’s layout:

It’s a giant rectangle, (two long walls and two short). One whole wall is a window that opens to the balcony, and the other merges into a hallway at the left which leads to my bathroom and closet. I have my bed which is black and one of those low beds on one of the long walls, opposite the door. My dresser and bookshelf are on the hallway-short wall. =] Sorry if this is confusing. All my furniture is black, and three of my walls are white and one is bright bright turquoise. My comforter is Victorian style, it has those wrought iron-ish patterns all over it with little blue birds on it too.

Thanks for putting up with that description!
Can you guys help me with creative, cute little ideas to accessorize my room that I can MAKE? Thanks!

-bambi-
Also, omygod, what I absolutely love is the Urban Outfitter’s bedding style. You know, that indie vintage sort of thing. I think it’s awesome, but my mom says it’s too expensive, so if you could somehow incorporate that in?
