Hello everyone
I really need help decorating….just bought a new home and we need decorate around the exisiting carpets we have. Our living room/dining room has a mid blue carpet. Not being a color im used to i need to decor around it. Any ideas??? Anyone know where i can view pictures of already decorated living rooms online?

We are subletting a family member’s home and they have forrest green carpet and kitchen linoleum. They want them kept in the house, but told us that we could paint.
My problem is what color?
The house also has powder blue in the bathroom (as in linoleum, toilet, and bathtub). Other than feeling sorry for me, do you have any advice for decor and/or paint in this room as well?
I was in the kitchens making dinner the other day and over heard my daughter on her portable cellulars telephone talking to her boyfriend. She said “Ofcoarse the carpet matches the drapes”! Why in the worlds does he care about our homes decor? Is that what the young pals are into these days?
My carpets are dark blue…i have gry paneling on one walls and the other walls are bright white. I can’t paint or put anything perm. on the walls. it’s very, very small. I need some ideas to make it look more like home. Also, I have a tiny kitchen that is pretty much attached to the living room with only a low counter to separate the two rooms. Is there something I can do to separate them without it looking tacky? I also have an even smaller bathroom, with gry/wht flooring and only a medicine cabinet for storage. I’m desperate and poor! help!
I’m thinking of having a feature wall with a dark pink and the other 3 with a softer shade of pink (I don’t mean pinky pink by the way, the colours I like are sort of vintage style if you see what I mean) only this leaves me of a problem for the carpet =/ I was thinking grey with a rug but not too sure.. Can anyone help?
What I really wanted was a cranberry feature wall but NOTHING wanted to go with it..
My furniture is all pine if that makes any difference
