It really looks bad and un kept!
I plan on decorating my apt. soon with dark oak mission furniture, along with accent pieces like lamps, shelves, and picture frames in espresso…. but I don’t just wanna limit myself to those colors. I’d like to add a little touch of ivory or bone white to my decor but don’t know how to work with them. Do these colors go well with dark oak and espresso? And are there any other colors that I should consider using? I’m trying to give my place a warm cozy look, but I need some ideas.
Hey, I’m off to college next fall and I’m wondering how i can possibly take a 10 by 12 box and make it a unique, liveable space. My style is kind of punky and I’ve seen lots of home decor that I like, but the problem is I don’t have that big of a budget. Any suggestions as to where i can get some affordable stuff that’s still decent quality and true to my style?
btw i have a single, so that gives me complete control over how i want the room to look =)
My husband and I just bought a ranch style home out in a country like area, in the suburbs. We are very casual when it comes to decor, I would say somewhat eclectic. I’m just confused as to what is the best way to decorate this type of home, we live in a tropical area, so I’m not looking to turning it into a southwestern style, but I was thinking country, or shabby chic, or something like that. Does it have to be ranch style? Can country or country-ish go with a ranch style home?
We just moved into our new home and I need help finding pictures to go on my walls. I have alot of bare wall space and need to add some decor. Anyone know of any good websites to go too that would help me out?
I plan to go to New Orleans in a few weeks to do some shopping, but I’m looking for some online purchases to get started decorating.
