Go Old School With Antique Garden Furniture
Many people love to decorate their gardens. It is quite natural to have the urge of showing it off when you have spent a lot of time and energy making and shaping it to be just the way you want. There is sometimes even a little bit of friendly rivalry between neighbours where they will buy anything in order for their garden to look better than the gardens that their friends have. Most people however, seem to have completely ignored antique furniture. Antique garden furniture is among the most beautiful and most valuable set of items that you could ever own. Why is this so? There are various forms of antique garden furniture, each of them appealing to different people, and each form of antique garden furniture can be very valuable.
Antique furniture has very popular patterns, so popular that you can get an item that is from the 1800′s and still refrain from looking bad with an item that old. Victorian-styled antiques have very unique, valuable styles and patterns, and some Victorian-made ones can be seen in furniture. All you need in order for your garden furniture to be considered Victorian is garden furniture featuring a beautiful woman or an angel. Other Victorian-made fittings feature a king or queen, and some of these also feature a religious figure. It is common for religious occasions to be featured on Victorian-styled antiques, because religion played a huge role in the Victorian Era, during which Queen Victoria reigned. Incidentally, the Victorian Era is named after Queen Victoria, and Victorian antiques are based on the time that Queen Victoria reigned.
Many people cannot get a face-to-face appraisal of their garden antique because they have little to no money, but these people can now get a free appraisal of their garden antiques online. Just send a few pictures of your antique to an online appraisal website, and you can get appraisals of your antique piece immediately. This is a much better way to get your antiques appraised than, say, the Antiques Roadshow, because it is a free service, and you could get your antiques appraised from the comfort of your own home, rather than in San Jose.
Next time you see a fountain featuring an angel for sale, do not dismiss the item as “just a pretty item.” That’s because this item can bring the buyer lots of money and may be a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

I posted a link to the picture on the bottom. I got these stands for free and love them but I am not sure what they are. The previous owner said she used them as a bird bath until she noticed the finish inside the bowl peeling so I guess they aren’t water safe. They are about 18 inches tall. Anybody know what they are supposed to be used as or have any suggestions to what I should use them for?
