This enchanting, 250-year old cottage has a fabulous situation right on the shore of Loch Crinan near Lochgilphead in Argyll. Its interior is no less spectacular, combining the highest standards of comfort with all the character you could wish for – beams, exposed stone walls, oak floors, rustic fireplace, lovely antique furniture – Crinan House really does have it all! www.unique-cottages.co.uk

On a recent visit to the market town of Leek I came across Haywood Interiors located in an old victorian mill and owned by Mick Machin. I was impressed by the vast amount of antique and reproduction furniture and collectables. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. You can see more of Haywood Interiors at their web site www.haywoodinteriorsleek.co.uk
