I am moving into my first apmt with one of my good friends for school. Ive already bought a 65in big screen and very nice surround system two very nice couches and ottoman…ive got a nintendo wii and xbox 360….now im looking toward the stuff on the wall..im gonna get some nice curtains n stuff but what other stuff do i need to make people go wow or think man these guys are well fashionable?? please help im a jock trying to transform into a sophisticated man…anything will help.. thanks

A very elegant sophisticated fashionable man with nice curtains huh? My gaydar just went off. Snap out of it. Lucky for you the weekends approaching so fire up that 65 incher and have some guys over to watch the games. Then go out and cruise for some babes to bring back.
You can get some nice curtains at Ikea. I don’t care for miniblinds- I don’t think they’re classy.
If you’re allowed to paint, try a deep navy blue or red (obviously depends on what your furnishings look like!) on an accent wall.
Get a nice TV stand.
Keep the clutter from accumulating.
Good lighting- no fluorescents in the house please (unless they’re a warm toned fluorescent)
Buy some vintage movie posters and have them custom framed, or if you have any good vacation pictures you can also enlarge those and have them framed. Don’t know if this is elegant but it would be WOW. Remember quality not quantity less of anything is always better. If you go to Ikea they have some nice framed artwork, you might also want to think about investing in an original piece of art.
