Buying a new house so I’m doing my shopping online to find good deals on kitchen dinnerware, decor for all over the home, new furniture, new electronics TV, Computer etc.

I tried overstock but are there any other good places to check out?
Not getting stuff at yard sales that’s how we got most of the crap in our house now. Don’t need it. Want to get EXACTLY what I want and not settling for less when I don’t have to, ya know?

craigslist.com – you buy directly from the person, near your home – you can check out the item in advance, and there’s no shipping or tax!

also, as far as decor, i’ve found that pier1.com has some really cool stuff for a decent price.

ebay works for me . . . it takes some looking but you can find some REALLY great deals on there.

What about the online shopping sites of stores that sell that stuff? Linens N things, sears, walmart, target, etc– some of them have combined shipping over a certain amount, or have where you can order online but pick it up at a store location near you instead of shipping/ delivery etc. if you want ONLY online though, ebay is the only one I can think of at the moment.

    Hope that helps!

Ikea.com and target.com are great places to shop for all sorts of home furnishings for less.

These sites are more expensive, but sometimes have good stuff on sale:
    potterybarn.com, crateandbarrel.com, westelm.com

Big Lots is great if you have one locally. They sell furniture.

Walmarts has good deals on the rest.

I couldn’t tell you online. I usually shop sites for hours before making a purchase online, so that I get the best deal. Therefore websites vary on items. Use searches like nextag.

On line I like overstock.com. If you have a Value City try them or as someone else mentioned,Craig’slist.org or Big Lots.

You may also want to check out http://www.homelement.com

    Good luck!

I would suggest shopping online and looking at ratings and finding out what you want. Once you figure out what you want, then you can look at different stores to see who has it for less.

You can check Walmart, Target, JC Penney, Kohls, Sears, Macys, Dillards, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Pier 1, Ballard Designs, etc.
